Why aren't slow left-lane drivers way more of a recurring topic on here?

Seems like a natural fit for this place. One of my favorite things to rant about. Creates bottlenecks and anxiety in traffic, and bottlenecks and anxiety in traffic creates traffic accidents.

It's not good to judge people, but I just people who cruise in the left lane and get passed on the right. Either they are closer to clinically retarded than normal or they just really really lack basic observational awareness and common sense.

At some point from the time you're 16 to current day, I just don't understand how you couldn't look around you and put 2 and 2 together.

Gets talked about a lot because it's infuriating to those of us who follow the rules of the road.

No situational awareness...just them on the road.

They are the same people that leave their trashcans at the road all week.

Think of the ticket revenue State Police could generate if they enforced this.

What does the OT hate more. Left lane campers or cyclers?

Cyclists should be deported to Europe until they learn to operate adult transportation options

Errrybody does it. If I drive, say from BSL to Orlando I will pass twice as many cars who are camped out in the left lane, than those in the right.

One rule, yield to the faster driver. End of story, but Americans are far too proud and dumb to do that.

Just pass on the right. I've seen plenty of drivers do this. Now you can get a ticket for passing on the right, but complaining about people not getting tickets for going "slow" on the left lane is lame.

If you ever drive over the speed limit you have no right to complain about someone driving "slow" in the left lane. Just think of how many driving violations are not ticketed.

Complaining about slow drivers in the left lane is a white man thing. Just drive like Blacks or Latinos or Asians and weave through the lanes and pass on the right or the left or in the middle if you don't live in the boondocks.

I think people who don't use their blinkers should be talked about more.

It's infuriating but people are already exponentially worse drivers than they were merely a few years ago. Slow left lane drivers are the least I have to worry about on my commute.

And it's everybody driving in the left hand lane.

Little old people
Young people
middle aged white people

Driving too slow for traffic in the left lane is against the law. Here it's called the "slow poke law." And the part about If you ever drive over the speed limit you have no right to complain about someone driving "slow" in the left lane" is just bizarre. Not even going to bother getting into the last paragraph you wrote. Not engaging.

But driving over the speed limit is also against the law, and the left lane is cruising consistently 7-10 mph over the limit on the interstate.

You could theoretically be ticketed for driving "too slow for traffic" despite traffic exceeding the speed limit, and you driving the max legal speed.

It's quite the conundrum. Probably why neither law is enforced.

That'll show him.

Why don't you REALLY teach him a lesson and just quit posting entirely?
