That may be the reason why you sleep less the older you get.Because your dreams aren't as enjoyable.
I lost my Dad when I was 28 and he was 56.I sometimes have dreams that include him and on occasion my Grandparents. They're usually more troubling than anything else.

While it's rare, every once in awhile something will happen in my dream that causes me to wake up with a huge adrenaline rush. Apparently there are times when my body is believing that my dream is real.

EVERY dream means something. It is the only time that your deepest self is able to penetrate through your ego and thoughts and desires from your shadow are able to rise to the surface. You cant look at your dreams literally. A bad dream can say a lot about you and what's inside of you, it's up to you to decipher what it's saying. Your dream probably has nothing to do with credit card accounts or perhaps even finances in general, but it probably does have something to do with something that is stressful for you right now.

It is real, just not in the literal sense. Something is going on, but maybe not having anything to do with the events in your dream. A nightmare that wakes you up suddenly is your subconscious screaming at you saying that something needs to be addressed.
