I thought black holes were caused by imploding stars

What about imploding galaxies?

Oh so clever graphic.

The universe is big; therefore, no God.

Isn't it a little early in the day for weed, Spicoli?

See here, they have observations of the black hole's effect at the center of the Milky Way.

So big yet so similar throughout.... Chaos? Or restoration of order? Makes you wonder.

No, they have observations of what they think is a black hole.

And to be forward, I believe current theories on black holes are mostly correct. , it's just that you can't see them, can't touch them, only you have to use the abundance of supporting evidence to bolster your faith in them.

It's a perfect parallel to Christianity, of which I firmly believe also

Well, then do the sun and other stars only exist "in theory and by faith" in your world too?

Are you really going to say you can observe a black hole? That's factually inaccurate.

what we observe are the supposed effects of a huge gravity force, and an absence of light in a region.

You dont know if black holes even exist, what if its a wormhole instead?

re they the catalyst that formed the galaxy in the first place and if so where did the original star come from?

yes, they "create" the gravity that causes solar systems to congregate towards. Just like the Sun. you dont see many groups of planets revolving around nothing.

The Cern Hadron Collider theorizes they contain parallel universes. LINK

Scientists aren't exactly sure yet why they form, but some say they form from mergers of stellar mass black holes and "sink" to the center of a galaxy as they grow.

If that is the case, what caused the formation of the supermassive black holes in the first place and what differentiates them to regular black holes? Possibly remnants from precursor galaxies shortly after the big bang (think Hubble Deep Field galaxies, and did these galaxies have them as well? I would think not..)?

I like to picture the universe as it is shown in Men in Black. An orb hanging from a cat's collar.

I'm always surprised that more people don't wonder what Einstein believed in. He was the one blessed from above to be able to comprehend space-time and fully revolutionize the entire world.
