My guess is animal rights activists would flip the frick out at the mere mention of something like this.

If they did do something like this, I’d go snake hunting

Already here. Python bait. They eat deer, FL panthers, plus anything else they can catch and constrict. Coyotes are smart, but not big enough to go toe to toe with even a medium python. Plus too much water in the glades for coyotes. Maybe salt water crocodiles or Nile crocs, but then that might start off a whole different problem.

Not enough hunters to keep up with python reproduction. And there is a bounty on them.

Last I heard, FL had a season for taking pythons. They need to make that 24/7 and completely unrestricted.

It really sucks how they’ve taken over the Everglades. At least the Panther numbers have been going up. Florida Panthers are pretty badass.
