What side is that?

How many D’s are calling for peace and no riots based on the results of the Chauvin trial?
How many D’s are speaking out against the violence in Portland this week?
How many D’s spoke out against the violence we saw in the protests and violence we saw after George Floyd’s death last spring?

I’ll let you form that conclusion

Personally, I don't root for those cities to burn, but i understand why they do and understand i can do nothing to stop but continue to espouse what I believe is a better/correct way. If people don't change, and don't take different actions, there isn't much we can do but watch at this point.
That is a great way to view it.

oh ok

so I didn't choose that side and Tiguar was literally just proving my point to Scruffy that this entire exercise is nothing but a way to try and demonize people with different voting habits

oh ok. but do the locations of said violence not have that in common? seems like a logical conclusion to draw then, unless you've got some conclusive alternative reasoning.

just some perspective, but some of the safest areas also share the same voting habits

True.

It does in the sense that, people are rooting for other people to see the results of their choices. It's an unsympathetic stance for sure, but it's rooted in the idea of reaping what you sow.

I think you're ascribing a level of analysis to many ITT that I don't believe is always taking place but I'll allow that it's probably true for Scruffy and a few others.

Anyways, thanks for the thoughtful response.

True, but that won’t stop the idiots from voting Democrat in the future. Liberals are like locusts. They destroy one area then move on to another. No matter how much death or destruction they cause, it will always be the fault of racist white people. The “white = evil” narrative has infected every aspect of American society, and this administration thrives on that.

I'd say it the other way. I put a little more faith in most people, and less faith in their ability to articulate their beliefs, or the whys of their actions.

Yes, we get a lot of drive bys "Can't wait for MSp to burn!" and while that's harsh, I do think it's probably rooted in a more mundane belief. It just feels better to say it like the above. Makes one feel in control and free to hyper-actualize the truth, than to think it through in their head.

We as a citizenary should not feel forced to eat the white dog shite (unlawfulness)

I want these mobs to keep making us eat it until we lose the taste and restore civility

So the OP is an idiot because you think you can only care about people or property, only one or the other and not both?

Is that the take you're really going with to call someone else an idiot?

Well they voted these progressives in office so they get what they deserve. Now if they didn't vote for them, then yes they don't deserve that.

They vacation together, do business together and go to secret elite retreats and meetings together.

Keep believing there's a difference in sides. There isnt.

The only issue I have about wanting the cities to burn is the blm buttholes that are doing the burning may move into the rural areas. This may mean I will need to buy more guns and ammo.
