I drove by 2 locals hospitals and they were all empty in the parking lots
I live on a very busy main road in the city and I hear ambulance sirens all the time except for the past week or so

Cleared out in anticipation of virus patients that aren’t happening

No visitors. Entire departments shut down. Most of them have far lower patient volumes right now.

Hospitals are so empty they're hemorrhaging money.

Ummm
1. No visitors allowed.
2. No elective procedures.
3. Minor surgeries postponed.
4. Nobody wants to go to the hospital right now.
5. Unessential employees sent home or working from home.

Because all elective procedures are cancelled and no visitors are allowed. The only people in the hospitals are hospitalists, ER staff, ICU staff, and patients.

Most hospitals shut down all but what they deemed to be “critical” services in anticipation of a rush of coronavirus patients.

They aren't.
But hey, you saw a parking lot.

Health care as a whole is slower right now than normal. Interesting considering the media would have us believing we are literally living through the movie Pandemic or andromeda strain.

Either OP is really really dumb or a very good troll.

No one is going to the hospital, thus jeopardizing the standard paradigm of going in for routine surgery and dying of a staph infection you caught there.

Why is the state run media saying they are death zones and war zones and very overwhelmed and short staff and huge lines and not enough PPE, etc?
Posted on 4/6/20 at 5:19 pm to FLTech
Elective surgeries stopped, other non-COVID related issues are a record lows because there is no one out and about and everything is sanitized, etc.
It is crazy how empty most hospitals are right now.

So all 2 hospitals are empty?
I know of a couple hundred operating with less than 60% of their normal patient capacity.

It's amazing that this is so hard for politards to understand. Add in social distancing limiting the exposure of COVID, thus lessing that specific patient influx it's pretty easy to see why hospitals are empty. Doesn't make COVID a hoax.
