Is American Masculinity Harming Our Boys, Men, and Society at Large?
So this little beauty popped up as I was scrolling through my Facebook feed. Apparently, Feminists in Action at LSU will be screening this on Monda,y November 16th.
Hmm, now why would feminists want to condemn hyper-masculinity or male strength...
By the way, the person who shared the event stated that the filmmakers would be exposing "the toxic masculinity that men and boys are faced with in America today".
You hear that guys? We too are victims.

What a terribly vague statement. I don't think his comment was in regard to the Internet, HD tvs, or medicine. More about the the degradation of our values as a free society. We should be viewing the culmination of these events as akin to Mao's war on the intelligentsia, etc. Even liberals are starting to recognize the problems that are happening. The WSJ, an admittedly conservative-leaning but still respectable news source, referred to them as the little Robespierres yesterday in an edtorial.
If someone even goes a little overboard in their characterization, so be it. I think it's perfectly reasonable to view this issue with passion. And I think this issue goes beyond Politics.

This type of thinking is just as bad as the people you are criticizing in my opinion. Must it necessarily be one extreme or the other? Of course, in many ways, we are much better off than ever before, but that doesn't mean that we have not regressed in some areas that are very troubling.
