Why am I all of a sudden getting FB notifications when I deactivated my profile?

I think the story is that you cannot delete your fb account unless you deactivate it for a period of time and do not acknowledge any notifications over that time.

You might want to check every online account you have to see if it is linked to FB and activating your account. Spotify, pandora, linked in, etc. Mine would randomly reactivate after signing into things I had no idea were linked to FB. I've been trying to get rid of my FB account for over three years but it never truly goes away. Hotel California like the other guy said.
