Chicken knows how to take care of us. We are compensated more than enough to not qualify for stimulus.
Get pissed at anyone still having a job. Hell everyone else is below you. You picked the perfect career to live your lifestyle. Everyone else is dealing with a pandemic that has shut down every industry but yours.

But this is how the plants get you. They hire you on and within two years they got you by the balls. Making over 100k, get the new truck, the new house, the high maintenance/keep up with the jones' lil wifey and you're done. Then she spits out a couple kids and the plant grip gets tighter on your nutsack.
What they don't tell you is the toll the shift work will take on you and your family as you age. Believe me, there's a reason plant jobs pay so much. Did it 32 years and was lucky to get out at 50. It was not a hard decision after my kids were out of my pocket and they merged with another company while taking away our retirement insurance I was counting on at 55. I try to talk people out of doing it more than anything. Big sacrifices.

I've never said anything negative about them - but their love of high gas prices and shouting down those celebrating low gas prices is tiresome and comes across as very selfish.

Show me an O&G worker who lives within his means and saves a ton because he recognizes the never ending boom and bust of the market and I will applaud him.
