That would get me to Tampa / St. Petes.

Sounds like a plan.

I have to drive into BR in the morning... So possibly days.

I'm trying to convince my wife that we should drive to Yellowstone. It is not going well.

12 hours north out of Georgia should get you further than Virginia.

I've driven that 3 times recently. It's not too bad at all. It'll be about 7 hours (actually 8 hours, we live north of Jville). If you have enough patience for the scenic route, take the Knoxville, Asheville route through the smokies. Otherwise, i16 from Atlanta to Savannah is what other states wish their highways could be.

Including stops of neccesity for 6 living creatures, holiday traffic, and picking someone up at the airport, it will be about that. Drove from Chicago to Atlanta after thanksgiving recently and that lasted 3 more hours than expected.
