This guy. Two kids in school sports for the summer, and this was the only week that worked for us.
First year to deal with this...apparently coaches refer to it as "dead week."

Staycation. Got a buddy coming up from Htown to visit. Astros/Rockies games, Blues Traveler Red Rocks on the 4th, then 3 nights of Avett Brothers Red Rocks. Some golf in between.

Jayden and Braden have Elite State tourney in Paducah this week. We use all our vacation watching our boy’s journey to the big leagues. Our daughters are excited about the pool at the Holiday Inn Express. I hope the games don’t go too late and they can swim before lights out. Don’t want the boys tired for the big games.

For those in the military, this is one of the best weeks to take leave. I am using 3 days, Mon-Wed, and I have off all week thanks to federal holidays and training days.
So yes, I am chilling at locally and not dealing with issues this week.

The best is between Christmas and NYE. Depending on how the days fell, 3 days of leave could net you 11 days off.

Working through Wednesday, then a 4 day weekend at home. Probably go to the lake one day, play some golf one day, and that's about it.
