Donatello's brains made the rest better. The Ninja Turtles wouldn't have been nearly as badass without Don.

meh...brains were lame in the 80's and Don was a dork character.

When they first came out, Don was the lamest. I'm not sure when this all changed. Maybe when our society got gayer?

Raphael - Best fighter, most hardass, conviction, principled, etc.

Donatello - Smart, placed wisdom over instinct, the personification of a team player.

Michelangelo - The comic relief, could hold his own in a fight, a truly caring individual.

Leonardo - Terrible "leader," egotistical, placed his interests above those of the group. Frankly, I'm surprised he wasn't stabbed in the back by the other Turtles.

Mikey. I'm not sure if my favorite color was/is orange because Mikey was my favorite ninja turtle or if I picked Mikey because my favorite color was orange before. I'm leaning towards the former.
