I ate there, once about 10 years ago, because the family picked it for a get together. Made any random Waffle House feel like a 5 star experience

I’ll eat at one once every 3-5 years

It’s not my favorite, but I’ve never been mad if that’s where I get stuck for whatever reason. I certainly eat worse at times.

Pretty sure every town that has this trash place has a real local country type of dish down the road that taste way better.

For the most part I agree. I think it's more of a place that people go to on a road trip so they don't have to go far off the highway.

But the most important thing is people need something to be outraged about. Don't take that away from them because it's all they have.

No, you sound like trash. Probably didn’t have a family or one that traveled so keep your ignorance to yourself.” Better to remain silent and let people wonder if you’re ignorant, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
I sound like trash bc cracker barrel is low quality food? You boomers really be something else huh?

The wife likes Cracker Barrell.
I only get an egg sandwich and let it go at that.

You must be young to post something like this. When you’re traveling for many hours, it’s a welcome sight, especially with family or kids. Like a touch of nostalgia from vacations of the past. From the little store in the front, to the checkers, big fireplace, historic memorabilia on the walls to the Peg game on your table. Good stuff.

I like it and eat there often.

Now, you name a place where you like to eat and I will start an unnecessary post bashing it just because it doesn’t confirm to my norm.

We (me, my wife, daughter, and MIL) go on frequent road trips. Stopping at Cracker Barrel for breakfast at some point is almost always the norm, usually at the insistence of my daughter.

I've never had a bad meal at a cracker barrel. We do not have one anywhere close to where I live so I don't eat it often.
