I spent about 4 months there working. Omaha is a pretty cool city. I also really liked Lincoln. Granted most of the rest of the state is farmland but it's largely culcha free except for one area in Omaha, good schools, low crime, good economy. There's more talent than you would think too. I wouldn't put it at the top of my list but it wouldn't be a bad place to live.

I used to travel a lot for work. I've been to 47 of the 50 states. There are places that I wouldn't live in over LA mostly just based on culture shock but much of the Midwest isn't bad at all.
