The M240i sounds fun on a coned autocross course.

X2 is garbage but 2 series and any of the 40i models would be a hoot. I figured it would be a lame sales guy test drive compared to ripping one around on a track full tilt. Plus, Brian Harris sucks.

My email is from the "Internet Manager" of Peake...I wonder if BMW USA takes these cars around or if they're Brian Harris'?

Unfortunately I won’t be able to see all the gleeful faces that test drive my fleet. I implore you all to enjoy yourselves though, I’m doing this for charity.

I went to a similar thing for Ford when they redesigned the F150s and Ford trucked them from dealer to dealer. Same group of people went around with the trucks.

That's actually cooler than having local salesmen. They'll have access to unlimited parking lot space, be nice if they set something up worth driving through.

I’m close to pulling the trigger on the 440i convertible.

Not sure. We went with neither of those dealerships for our recent purchase. The Performance Delivery Center experience was amazing and I have no faith in this if it is run by Brian Harris.

They are doing/did the same here in Orlando so guessing it's the same as the F150 tour.

Subtle brag on being able to afford all of that expensive maintenance.

We didn't go through the local dealer for our last vehicle either. Ordered it direct, bolt on options through the US import contact, then just picked it up at the dealer.

Due for its first service soon, so we'll see how that goes. Takes them a whole day, so a loaner and two trips to NOLA. I don't see why they can't schedule better and have you out of there in a couple of hours (long lunch).

I like the 440. Just have to convince myself I want a car payment again.

We used an out of state dealer that had the best price and picked it up at the factory. Only way to do it in my opinion.

Cover your trip to SC and they put you up in a nice hotel, feed you good food and get you to the performance center for a day of track/offroad driving and a factory tour along with a personal delivery/orientation with the vehicle.

We probably should have taken the trip to Europe to pick the car up, do the factory tour, and drive it around for a week or so...but we didn't want to delay getting our vehicle here. Sketchy driving your brand new car is some foreign land too. They offered cool Euro only options and colors as well.

What were they?

Also, am I the only one that wishes the 5 series station wagon was offered in America? This thing looks sweet.

I am going to do the European delivery program someday. The savings basically pays for the trip.

Sounds like a douche bag convention in the making.

Meh. I’ve owed my current beater car outright for years, and I drive approximately 5 miles per day.

It will be my almost mid life crisis car and it won’t be subj dyed to much stress.
