I've solved the Analytical Reasoning ("Logic Games") sections of the last 35 LSATs. They are all going to be constructed similarly, due to the need to have comparability between tests taken at various times. Learn the "vocabulary" used by the test, and take as many practice tests as possible. I taught for an LSAT Review program.
I took it long ago when the scoring scale was quite different than the present.
The first question on the test should be: "Why the f**k would anyone want to be a lawyer?"

I scored a 152 the first attempt, and a 159 the second because I got adhd extra time. It’s very easy to get if you get a dr to write you a note for LSAC to attain accommodations, and obviously was a huge help for me. Got into Tulane and a full ride from Loyola, and I had a 3.1 in communications from LSU

Mrs. S passed. She took a prep class which helped a lot.

Took it 10 years ago.
- 143 cold (sophomore year of college)
- several practice tests in the 160s
- 160 on the real thing
Waitlisted at LSU, but we had the largest incoming class ever (at the time), so competition was pretty stiff/the admissions office could be picky. Had I gone to law school 3 years earlier or 3 years later, I'd have gotten into LSU with some scholarship money
Admitted into several other schools that aren't worth naming, even got some random "pre-selection" letters or some shite from other big name state schools to apply...basically like apply and you'll 100% get in.
In summary, don't go to law school and frick China

Not sure what I got. I did not get admitted to MIT. Fact.

Not surprising, MIT doesn't have a law school

An attorney acquaintance of mine still regularly seeks out law exam questions online to answer "for run." No thanks, Jeff.

162
88th percentile that year
Used Princeton Review book and old tests
Later graduated with a 2.36
Passed the bar the first time, then got fired from two small firms to conclude my illustrious career

Incredibly based.
I declined to take the bar because I had a non-law job offer that paid well. Kinda feels like unfinished business 6 years after the fact, but every time I think about studying like a law student again for 3 months I just gag.

Took it in 1973 (so ask me anything). Couldn't get on the website, can't imagine why not. Did buy an LSAT study book a month or so ahead; all prepared for pseudo language but the test I took didn't have it!
It did have some other section that was off the wall (weird variation of analogies IIRC) and really difficult. Later found out that section didn't count. Had some sort of writing section but don't recall my score. Scored 782 and did NOT go to law school.

I took it way back in 1988. I didn't do any prep at all. I don't remember my score, but it was in the top 3%. I don't know how that happened, because the Analytical Reasoning section made my head spin. If you actually spend time studying for that section, you'll do fine. The rest of the test is pretty easy.

Is that something you did to prepare for the LSAT . . . or an ongoing hobby you've pursued on an annual basis this last 35 years?
I was teaching for an LSAT prep, so it was something I did to look for new or unusual twists that I would be able to point out to the students preparing to take the test.
There are four tests per year, so looking back I probably solved about 50 past tests. Puzzles of all kinds were always interesting to me anyway.

Are you guys still able to get access to old tests? Do your best to get access to as many tests as you can get your hands on.
Do a Google search with "site:drive.google.com" as a search modifier. I just checked, using "lsat" as my search term with that modifier, and you should be good.
You owe me a beer.
Eta: Also, reddit has an LSAT subreddit that looks fairly active. You should be able to get access to tons of rss. I don't know who is putting out the best stuff now, but powerscore's logic games bible was the goto back in the day for the games section. If it's still good, you absolutely need to work through it.
Good luck; don't be a lazy arse.

I took it when a perfect score was 48.

Yea, buddy of mine sent me about 10 old tests that he had.
I looked at some of the Reddit posts but it just seemed like people were so full of shite. Most are posting that they got a 170 as a cold diagnostic. I’ll continue browsing it I guess to see if there’s more info.
