Following a guy at night on I -10. Swerving and slow. Even slowed to about 20 mph at times. A Rig almost crushed him, and almost jackknifed stopping to not hit him.
Also back in our apartment years. Our upstairs neighbors beat the shite out of each other. I actually believe it was the woman who was nuts as she did all of the screaming. We heard what sounded like a guy jump from their balcony one night during an episode. "Dude (forgot name) just got stabbed!" Was all we heard. I made the call.

About 10 years ago I was on my way to work when I saw a guy slowly start to drift off into the left lane. I honked my horn at him because I thought he was just nodding off. There was no oncoming traffic in the opposite lane (thank God). He just kept on drifting over until he went off the road and smacked head on into a power pole. The transformer on top exploded and power was off for several hours, including at my work. I stopped, called 911 and explained what happened. Turns out the guy had a massive heart attack. When the ambulance got there he was already dead.

Only called one time. The day my dad died at work. Found him slumped in his office chair and unresponsive. Did CPR couldn't bring him back.

1st: idiot former friend called me (woke my wife and kid) at like 2am saying he was about to kill himself over a bitch that had left him for her side piece. I told him to frick off, hung up and called 911. I cared enough to call him some help but wasn't spending my night talking down some a-hole wanting attention.
2nd: drunk driver rear ended a lady on hey 71 south of Alex then almost hit us head on. Scariest driving I've ever seen. We followed him and talked to the dispatcher until they were close.

Once when crackhead broke my daughter's car window to steal an amp.
Once found a boat broken down full of drunks. One dude falls over and starts flopping all over. Buddy threw him in the boat and hauled arse to the landing. 911 hung up on us. Ambulance was there when we got to the landing. I grabbed the truck, put boat on and drove down the road with buddy still in the boat. Didn't want any part of that mess.
In the dial up/AOL days, one of the phone connections had 911 in the number. Had a glitch and next thing an operator is talking through the computer speakers. WTF? Took a while to convince her what happened.
2 year old niece called by accident in my Mom's bedroom. Cop shows up knocking. We had no idea. He wouldn't leave until we showed him the girl was OK. Which was pretty cool.
