I wish I lived on the beach year round.

A chick I used to date spent a winter on Nantucket. She said it was awesome except for catching pneumonia from the omnipresent ice fog.

I would live in Mexico Beach for sure

Should have been more clear. I come to my place in Nola for events during the year like Mardi Gras etc. as to the heat. Temperature at the beach is the same.

Nice.
I'd love to live on the water.

Touristy beach community? No. A smaller, relatively non-commercialized community (like Edsito Beach)? Not right now, but eventually yes.

That plus the humidity and fog would get old. I'd rather the beach be a place I want to get away to, not from.

Maybe one that wasn't really popular with tourists, otherwise no.

You can watch the Tide roll, even in the off-season.

I have been eye balling Tampa. The Rays will probably build a new stadium on that side of the bay. Fantastic fishing. Best beaches in the country. Job market is meh tho.

I live in Orange Beach, have nothing to do with the tourist trade. I love it nine months of the year, but summer sucks. Way too many people. We don't go out to eat from June-mid August. BTW, on vacation as we speak in the Mountains of NC.

I live in carlsbad, ca which is just north of san diego and I absolutely love it. The tourists are everywhere right now and it's kind of cool. The beaches are packed and it's tough to find a spot to park but I live about a block from the beach and a block from the village area here where everyone goes so parking isn't an issue for me.

Live in Destin/FWB area and avoid Hwy 98 like the plague during summer months.

I am jelly, baw. If not for the home prices, I would move that way.

I could, but not just an beach. It would have to be a good beach with nice water. I couldn't deal with Biloxi, or any gulf town that wasn't east of Mobile. I don't know as much about the Atlantic coast outside of Florida. But I'm sure there's a few that are too redneck for me to deal with.
