Well, considering that the new covenant through Christ allows for us to eat anything that flies, swims, and walks, all food is game.

I will be eating Red Meat today - cause I don't let a bunch of religious zealots worshiping a supposed invisible man in the sky, who likes to watch people, tell me I can't.

Everything works too perfect to be a random event. Whether you like it or not. You're just one of the ants on somebody's ant farm.

I hear ya. I once worked somewhere and one Lenten Friday I walked in to my office with a big ol' greek gyro platter. He said "you're eating meat today?? I thought you were Catholic??" I said I am, just not on Ash Wednesday or Fridays during Lent. Shut his arse up.

If you’re going to do a thread, at least get it right.

We Catholics don’t eat meat on Fridays during Lent.

This includes Beef, Chicken, and Pork.

It’s not just red meat. You’re welcome

Gonna go pick up some steaks on the way home. Congrats to those not eating red meat for an entire day. Really making the sacrifice. Make sure to post about it on FB.

This guy. No need to eat fish as penance for donating money to molestation settlements.

To be fair, it's supposed to be a day of fasting and denial of creature comforts.

But you mix the French Spanish and Catholicism and it'll make a party.

Most people could do with skipping a few meals anyways.

I don't follow any of the Old Testament dietary restrictions, and I can't find any in the New Testament, so I eat whatever makes me healthy and happy, whenever I feel like it.
