Just for clarification, the guy in the OP, Dr. Nabarro, does support "flattening the curve" type lockdowns, just not prolonged lockdowns like we are currently seeing.

I think everyone agrees with this, regardless of politics. But as soon as the hospitals weren't overwhelmed, things should have opened back up.
