re: Who all got a social media brag post on Father’s Day?

It is universally known that I refuse recognition for meeting expectations, both at home and at work. That recognition part of the meeting just makes everything last longer. They recognized me once. I responded that I get paid every other Friday.

"Do you want me to make a post for you?" - "I don't care"

"what should I say" - "I don't care, I'm not on it so I don't see it"

"listen if you don't want it I won't do it." - "Up to you it's a nice gesture but really I don't care"

"What photos do you want on your post" - "Whichever ones you like"

"Read this, this is a really nice post" - "Yes honey it's very nice thanks"

My wife bragged about the gift she got me...does that count?

My wife and kids did this weird thing where instead of going on social media to tell me happy Father’s Day, they instead actually told me in person, complete with hugs and presents. Must say I rather enjoyed it as it seemed far more natural and genuine for them to tell me in person instead of telling everyone else in social media.

My father in law got a shout out but not me. Guess i'm a POS.

I’m not a father but my fiancé tried to give me credit for raising our dogs. Not cool in my opinion because you can’t compare raising children to animals. I appreciate her trying to be nice, though.
