re: White trash status symbols

It's not really a symbol, but just being inconsiderate.

Like; parking so it blocks someone's driveway, parking in someone's yard, talking on the phone in line at the store (especially when you have kids with you), speeding past a line of cars and cutting over at the last second knowing you had to merge, not letting the guy holding 2 items go in front of you when you have a cart load of crap, hitting the car you're parked next to with your door, the list goes on.

I've met some really nice people, who do none of the above, and have several of the items mentioned in this thread. I've also met people with Audis and range rovers who do all of the above, and act like TOPS. It's a character thing, not a "what they own" thing.

The fact that you think having money to buy these boats is trashy is kind of telling of how poor you are.

It's cool though bud, starting trashy threads on the OT just screams narcissism. You can't help it, you just don't know about better.

Nothing to do with having money or being able to afford the boat.

There's no denying that a fair amount of guys that have these boats are douchey white tool bags.

I don't have a boat nor am I mad about anything. It's just amusing to me how people think having a nice boat is trashy.
