What's wrong with you, ornery fricker? I just saw the bickering and mouton said you called him a dumb frick.

All we are asking is for the people on other side to acknowledge that it is not the most considerate thing in the world to call a place 5 minutes before they are closed and request a serve that takes 30-50 minutes of their time.

But this is Domino's Pizza. It doesn't take close to 30-45 minutes, they're on the clock anyways, and the posted hours are until 10. What purpose does Domino's posting a closing time of 10 serve if it's not to deliver pizzas? I guarantee that the owner isn't staying open until 10 just for them to get an early start on wiping down the counters.

I would imagine though that you were courteous about it and not "I got here during operating hours, do your damn job" to quote another poster.

Unlike the idiot Dominos employee, I'd never actually say that. I have no problem with the employee thinking that, but you don't write a note to the customer saying that.

He's the one constantly hurling insults with nothing else, and you're blaming me. Outstanding.

I never called him that. The group think in this place is funny sometimes.

No one is saying they shouldn't have. They just ask that you realize that you are in fact being entitled if you have no qualms about doing it on a regular basis.

This.

What KG6 just said in the post above is that staying after hours for someone goes above and beyond what is required and leaves a good impression. You won't find me arguing with that.

But if policy doesn't dictate (i.e. not a large chain), do they have to? No. And if they're polite about it, I doubt it would even cause you to refrain from doing business with them.

Again, I can agree that staying after hours for someone is a good thing to do for business and still agree that as customers, we should aim not to force people to do that as much as possible. One does not exclude the other. All anyone is asking is for the other side of the fence to acknowledge that it is kindof a dick move to do it in any industry. It doesn't mean they don't have to serve you because of it.. and none of us are saying that.

I have no issue with a place for closing a few minutes early. Mom and Pop places do that shite all the time.

When I am the customer at the last minute I sometimes will ask something like this. "whats the easiest least messy thing you can make that will fill my fat arse up?"

Usually gets a chuckle from the server and they know they gonna get tipped well.

Being polite would mean not putting the message on the box and not bitching about it.

You are just two faced or a hypocrite if chalk it up to politeness then bitch about it later.

Yes, do you have any comment or rhetoric to add? Other than a set line of remarks used to infer that other posters with an opinion different from yours are beneath you?

Not one that you're going to accept apparently.

Dominos is not a sitdown place, and that's the end of this. If someone orders a pizza at 10:55 when thy close at 11, shut up and make the damn pizza.

hours of operation exist for a reason

if dominos want to end take out at 10:30 and close for pick ups at 11, then that is a decision they need to make.

eta: i could see john oliver ordering pizzas from this place for a month in the exact same manner and donating them to hospitals, first responders, homeless, etc.

Oh, so that means I think it should be something that happens all the time?

Nice assumption bro.

That's all there is to it. All this other crap posters are throwing in is meaningless filler.

Well, are you serious? If that's you best evidence of me saying you're beneath me, then you just might be.
