Are you Abraham Zapruder?

A buddy of mine did repo work in college. If you were a dick, he would put your car on cinder blocks and give it a shove right before driving off.
Set that shite on the ground.

Did you shoot that photo with your Zapruder camera?
Edit: He got his white privilege checked!

Waut...are you telling me people RENT rims now? Seriously?
Finance them for ridiculous amounts. It's the same as Rent A Center and Aaron's. They finance you rims that cost them $500 and over time you pay them back like $4K total. There are places like this in the hood in about every city.

Sounds like a pretty lucrative business, but I don't think I'd want to deal with repoing rims from the hood

it is. basically it works like this. You put down a downpayment, sometimes even as low as 50.00. They give you 90 days same as cash loan, new rims and tires, hazard and warranty, lifetime free alignments, etc. They also install these special TPMS with gps, and they give you a "free" GPS system that also works with the special TPMS since they are on a different frequency than your vehicle. Basically, that's just so that if you miss a note, they know the exact location of the merchandise so they can pick it up.
So, the business model is this. you take a brand new set of rims and tires, that may be 1500 new to buy outright. you allow customers to finance them for 52 weeks, with weekly or bi-weekly payments coming out of their bank account. If they pay them off within the 90 days, they just pay the cash price(say 1500 plus tax or whatever). But if they don't, then the interest starts to add. If they pay it off at the 52nd week, then they would have paid double what cash price is(so in this case 3000 plus taxes and finance charges). The customer can also turn the rims and tires in at any time and their account be cleared(as long as the rims and tires are in good condition), or they could trade for a new set of rims and tires, but they will not be credited towards the new wheels, they will just surpass the initial mounting charges(like 50.00) and no need for a new down payment) I know in Texas, failure to pay your note not only results in repo, but could also result in a felony(Theft of services).
I worked part time at one of these "we finance rims and tires" places in jackson on weekends and such. Could make decent money off commissions. We sold high priced wheels like Forgiato's and Rucci Forged, but people that could afford those would rent and pay off in less than 90 days. Also know some who would come in, pay like 150.00 and rent some high priced wheels for a week or so to take their vehicle to car shows or big events.
