I guess.
I just don't get it. If you have the means to buy a new car every couple of years like a a near billionaire does, driving some 20 year old shitbox doesn't make you smart.

My dad has right around 300k on an f-150 suoercrew 4x4 I bought in 2003 and gave to him in 2009 with about 165k on it. My commute went way up and I didn’t want to wear it out in 2 years. He’s only changed the plugs and coils since and it runs just as good as the day I bought it.

~500,000 on my dodge 3500 flatbed one ton.
I know an attorney who put 700,000 on a Chevy van, including the window curtains and VHS player. His current one is a buzzard chit green Lincoln town car that he bought 15 years ago that now has 300,000 on it.

I've got more money than you ever will, and I drive a truck that I bought for one of my crews 16 years ago, and drive it on the reg.
Most wealthy people spend their money on stuff you'll never see. Including their fun-time cars. You don't get rich by being stupid with money.

292,000 on an 05 Chevy Silverado. Stock motor and transmission. Never really had any problems with it other than changing out the usual wheel hubs, ball joints, pulleys, etc, had a freeze plug blow out once.
