That’s how every pipeline welder thinks and talks. Always threatening to drag up. Hilarious.
There’s always those who think they are irreplaceable or can “get a job anywhere”. That’s not unique to any profession, just a matter of maturity.

Plenty of jobs out there that you can easily pull six figures while being off for 27 weeks a year.
Like the guy that jacks off lions with a hand full of sticker burrs? I imagine he spends most of those 27 weeks off in the hospital and rehab.

Great video. I giggled the third time I watched it.

Half of the per diem ...

If it was easy, everyone would do it.

Probably no debt at all. They pay off their campers in no time with per diem.
Then again, a lot of them are degenerate gamblers and financially ignorant, so they don’t save a ton of money.
I wouldn’t want to be a welder, but for a certain type of person it makes a lot of sense.
And likewise, some college degrees pay a hell of a lot more than a welder will ever make in a year and have more time off. You better get a stem degree though, that is what I did...and I'm just in the beginning of my career and poor at barely over 6 figs.... working only 40 a week in mostly ac. Another 10 years I will be at 200k plus doing the exact same thing without any promotion...but I will absolutely take my promotions and end up where I end up.
