I would try sailing. I sailed as a teenager and I think there are 3-5 people crews. I could handle a few winches and lean the right way. I wouldn't hurt a team too bad..

I'm pretty unathletic so the only chances I would have would be kayaking, rowing, or shooting. If I am in consideration for any single Olympic event, the world has gone to shite

Man, I watched that for a bit yesterday. I would not say kayaking is "unathletic". Pretty tough what those guys were doing.

I absolutely know I couldn't qualify in anything. Given 8 years to train, maybe attempt baseball if it's back in the games at the time. Only because I think I could be put on a field and not absolutely look like an idiot. I'd still be horrid and would probably strike out every time I went up to the plate. But I'd just look like I was having a bad day if no one new any better

Maybe I phrased that post wrong, every event requires a great deal of athleticism. I was more looking at it as which event might have the smallest learning curve if that makes sense. I have a better shot at becoming an Olympic kayaker than say basketball or golf, even though its almost zero

LCA, Coach Lombardi here.

Go and get the NBC sports app... you can watch all the handball you can take with it.

There are three women's matches today on the app. One is live right now, another at 12:40 central, and another tonight.

You can set the app to notify you when matches are starting, and you won't miss any of the action.

That's what I do, so I can plan my gamebreaking handball strategy. Now, get to it.

You have to be an Olympic athlete in the events before qualifying for that one

Curling. That shite looks so stupid it must be easy.

good choice (given we have to pick one). just takes practice and intelligence and some basic fitness and flexibility, its not a physically demanding sport.

Definitely curling.

I firmly believe if I practiced curling for 8 straight years everyday that I would be an Olympic level curler.

Its fricking shuffleboard on ice. Even world class curlers have other full time jobs. 8 years is a looong time to practice a game that requires almost no athletic skill.
