Get corded. I have 3 Dremel tools, and they all work the same. There is no noticeable difference in power between them

If they all work the same, then why would you limit your range of motion with a cord?

All 3 of mine are corded. I use them a lot to cut bolts I can't get my grinder on. Some take a long time, and I wouldn't want to be fricking around with cordless tools for that

You ever tried to drill through railroad ties with a cordless drill? Yeah, they quickly burn out and you're reaching for the corded ones ASAP

Skip the cordless. The batteries don't last for shite and they're simply not as powerful.

This is all true but I got one anyway. It is handy to sharpen my lawnmower blades while still on it. That is about the only thing I use it for though. I have a corded one for my office shop.

I have a cordless. It as a gift. I like it but battery does not last forever like the chord. I feel it last a really adequate amount of time

Dremel makes a lithium rechargeable model now. That's what I have and it's a bad arse little machine. My 2 corded models never get used anymore

That's what I have. I have never shopped for one as both were gifts. I used it majority of the time when I was in directional drilling cleaning or messing with surface equipment. My corded model is a little more powerful. Plus you have infinite supply of run time

Ohh I still prefer it. I guess all I'm saying is it depends on where you want to use it. I can't see myself using it for an entire battery length.

A spade bit in my impact and it's no problem. We drilled and drove lag bolts 18" deep without recharging. I want to say it was 14 total in wet, rough cut cypress

I like the lion cordless

I don't need it to do heavy duty things...I love the freedom of the cordless

Make sure you get a variable speed. Not a two speed.

Dremel 3000 is what I have...does everything from cutting screws and bolts to the delicate crafty shite my wife does. One of my favorite possessions - the Dremel not the wife

We have a cordless and it works perfect, great power and battery life is great.

We do DIY projects on the regular and it's been perfect. Here is the model we have, the varying speed control is awesome.
