I was only relaying what I heard, both owners could only find qualified candidates in Houston and Dallas, but they wanted Houston and Dallas money. But you're right, I have heard that all the major tech companies are dying to hire vo-tech graduates.

I'm not talking about working for your frack sand or landscaping company.... It is difficult to find highly educated young individuals in Shreveport/Bossier. I would bet that most officers that leave the air force, don't stay in Shreveport/Bossier. I grew up in Shreveport, and I honestly have no issue with LA Tech. But if I had to choose between Shreveport, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, or Houston, I'm not choosing Shreveport and neither did any of my educated friends from that area.
