It really is.

People arguing the vaccine is worthless is like arguing seatbelts are worthless because car accidents didn't fall after mandating seat belts.

Same place we are right now.

The "leaders" have marching orders from the Democrats at the top. Their job is to keep their power by keeping everyone under their thumb so they can keep the virus BS going as long as possible. They are in the middle of their permanent power grab, and your compliance is only helping. The mask BS will never go away. Every time "cases spike" they will come back - and sheep will listen. We are under masks because of power hungry politicians. The science does not support the mask BS. You obeying is on you.

This isn't Ebola. There is not a 40% death rate. This is about the elderly, immune compromised, organ transplant and people with pre-existing conditions - not unlike the flu. Most, 99.99904% recover without incident.

Its still a free country. If you had the virus, you are good. If you got the vax, you are good. If you had either or both and want to wear a mask to make yourself feel good, go crazy.

But you gripping about other peoples personal private medical decisions is absolutely ridiculous. Then again, You could always grow a pair of nuts, and skip the mask bullshite.

How about this? Mind your business, and stop sweating what other people do.

Im not getting the vax. I already had the virus. I am in contact with people all the time. I never wear a mask. My immune system is very strong and what I do with my health is my business. Kick Rocks!!!

Or you could compare those same states to themselves last wave in January before vaccinations were widespread.

It’s still night and day.

I actually did this math yesterday cause I was bored and it was pretty impressive.

That’s not an argument for not getting vaccinated if you’ve never had covid.

That’s an argument for not getting vaccinated after you’ve had covid which is a very reasonable approach.

I still think we need to wait a few months as covid is likely seasonal to make any conclusive arguments

the south had it first with og covid as well

That makes sense.

What's your plan when your antibodies run out from covid? Get covid again and take your chances?

Waves in March, August, and January? Must come in all 4 seasons.

COVID was not seasonal last year unless you mean every season. It spiked in Summer and Winter.

It may very well end up seasonal but there’s no real suggestion for that right now.

yes man. I have 99.9% chance of living. 0.1% of dying.

almost the same as a meteor falling down from the sky and busting my skull open

I should start wearing a football helmet around town according to your logic

I think a positive antibodies test every month should be sufficient.

Probably 1500 cases a day but more importantly 500 people in the Hospital which would mean covid would be like the rhinovirus or RSV. Only New Orleans would be requiring masks.

Isreal has 700 people in the hospital with a population 2 times Louisiana.

That is unnecessary.

Natural immunity is less reliant on the presence of antibodies.

I’d would probably recommend vaccination two years or so after infection- sooner for high risk patients.

agreed.

but 100% vaccination is not realistic. it’s been 8 months. most people have had an opportunity to get vaccinated by now. and limiting someone’s freedoms or health care due to non-compliance, is essentially forcing a medical treatment on citizens against their will. which most of you should have a problem with.

seasonal in the sense that it moves through regions in a pattern. I'm not sure how to phrase it?

Started in UK, then southern states, then north, etc

this wave seems to following similar pattern to the OG
