I think I was in the hallways at school when I found out. I was in 7th grade and the school was being hush hush about everything which really pissed me off at the time. Like we didn't have a right to know or something.

I just finished showering and was in my boxer briefs when I saw the news. Then went on to my French class at LSU.

I was working here in Mobile headed to providence hospital to pipe a sixty ton a/c.Was listening to Johnboy and Billy and they reported a plane had hit the first tower thinking it was a. Light aircraft.I didn't actually here about the rest of the attacks later that day.

Senior year of high school. First period computer programming class. Didn't understand what was going on. I was a dick about it.
Didn't hit me until the next period when that's all we could do.
Some teachers chose to ignore it and teach class as regular. A lot of students were pissed at this. It's not because of the insensitivity of the teach it was really because they had to do work. I don't fault the teachers. If I didn't know what to do, I'd proceed as planned as well.
When I got home my parents were already there. Which was weird. I couldn't watch TV for a week.

In that one, you claimed that after the fighters appeared right on the side of you, they informed over communications that the president was nearby and that y'all had to leave. That's right, you stated that after the largest terrorist attack in history, fighter pilots were revealing the location of the President of the United States to an aircraft. Then, as you said they flew on both sides of you, (aside from the fact that they can't even fly as slow as the helicopter you were in) a position is which not only leaves them with no tasctical advantage, but puts them on both sides of an aircraft on a day when people are literally ramming aircraft into things.
Everyone has seen the movies that you and the 50 other rednecks who have told this same story pulled it from. Didn't happen.

I was at work for a company in Orlando, FL - My Parents were actually in the air flying to Dallas together when it happened and I could not get in touch with them for several hours. It was horrific. Luckily, when they landed at DFW, they had no idea what happened until they got off the plane and saw the TVs at the airport

Career Day Junior year in the Central High School gym.
I heard that "we got bombed" and "the pentagon was bombed" then quickly figured out what really happened. Entire school put TVs on and we watched it unfold.

I was in 8th grade literature class, they rolled one of these into our classroom and we watched it all unfold.

I was at home that moning getting ready for a 11-7 shift...For some reason we didn't turn on TV that morning.. Ddidn't hear about it till we pulled into work and wasn't sure what was really going on until I walked into wok ansd saw the 2nd plane hit the tower and just lost it... How could something like this happen in this country... fricking bastards.......... I still have nightmares about it... I never felt so numb and helpless in my life for those people trapped in those towers....
