I'm willing to cut down something larger.
I'm willing to find used abs. Buy something that has that much material I can cut off.

I just watched a bike pull 14% more power through the mid range and 5% more peak just by installing the spacer with a pre existing rich tune.

Use a plastic tub, check the recycle code to ensure it won't turn to jelly. Stack enough pieces to give you 1". Hell, you could fab it from wood for a one day trial.

Go to wal-mart and get a cutting board. Most are 1/2" thick so you could glue two together.
