Both. Centipede in front yard. St Augustine in the back that I had put In as sod a couple years ago. I absolutely love the stuff, just wanted to know what the experts thought.

MSM is 100% legal to use on centipede. The part that wasn’t tested was MSM applied during 25-50% green up in centipede lawns. Testing sites were in Jacksonville, Florida and only done to St Aug and Bermuda lawns

Not for use on Centipede. Should have been included on the label.

Can’t read? Legal and tested for centipede. Used to be in the summer mix. Wasn’t tested during green up. Why do you think Jim Hagedorn started cutting checks for centipede lawns? Product was not tested during green up.

Not for use on Centipede.

He should have to pay. What are you getting at?

It wasn't tested correctly and the company had to pay for incorrect labeling?

You're proving my point.

You’re a fricking retard. It’s like you skip over every fricking detail about how’s it won’t burn centipede during the summer, it wasn’t tested during green up but they assumed it would work and that assumption cost Scott’s a lot of money. IT IS LEGAL TO USE ON CENTIPEDE.

It’s fantastic. Won’t promote fungus growth as you aren’t over feeding with with nitrogen.

Except during green up. My business is definitely profitable, except when I say something and haven't tested it and then it's a mistake.

Scott’s Miracle is more profitable than you or I will ever be. Again, centipede is 1% of their 5 billion dollar business and they paid about 10% of their 1%. Lawn care is easy when you’re only in charge of 180 acres of Tif 419.

I'd be surprised if you knew the different forms of Nitrogen or even the plant available forms of Nitrogen at given times of the year to benefit turf.

I've never seen someone try to big league folks over lawn care, but it's a pathetic fricking look. Well done.

Unless they mislabel a chemical. That's an EPA violation, to start

I grow turf in a constant state of death. My 419 is trimmed closer than your ugly wife's count hair.

My ultradwarf rolls like glass.

Let me give you some advice. I can appreciate your 180 acres and the fact that it is a golf course. I mange over 2500 residential acres plus 2 major universities, several large commercial landscape companies, etc.......relax, it’s just grass.

Respect on the turf level.

In my experience, old people like you are being forced out because of non dedication and wanting too much pay. Not surprised you are managing residential, commercial and 2 JUCOs

That's why the OP needs to go read the Outdoor board for this kind of info.

Spring Weed Guide For Lawns with Weed Chart and Plant ID APP Added Pg2Posted on 2/19/18 on the Outdoor Board

Pretty good info. Not many know-it-all a-holes.

It wasn’t necessarily a bad batch as it was a non tested product on centipede. 2016’s mix had MSM in it. You cannot apply MSM to centipede during spring green up or it will smoke it. They tested it on Bermuda and st aug and it worked fine. Centipede makes up about1% of their market and they just said frick it, it’ll work.

Well whatever it was it definitely smoked my yard along with a lot of people in my neighborhood. But they were good about paying for it. Sent an adjuster out, measured the yard and cut a check within a month of it going down. That was surprising and refreshing.
