The last show I was was Hamilton in NYC. Tickets on Ticketmaster, and it was phenomenal

Buy them directly through the theatre. I know I could’ve found them cheaper elsewhere but it wasn’t worth the difference in my opinion.

If your dates and times are flexible, there are several last-minute discount websites. If you search discount Broadway tickets on Reddit there are several threads that are very helpful.

1st time my stockbroker set us up. Excellent seats.

Next time at the half price place in Times Square. It worked out.

I've seen probably 20 Broadway shows.

Book of Mormon is great
Kinky boots is great
Hamilton is fantastic.
Mean girls was a lot of fun.
Hadestown is supposed to be this years hottest show.

Go to tkts or check the app if you are in new York for cheap tickets.

I saw Buchanan, the Hamilton sequal about the first non-binary president.

Great choreography and fantastic hick-hop score that sends you line-clogging out of the theater

I'm close to NYC and see Broadway shows as often as possible. Directly through Ticketmaster or Telecharge for the most popular shows (you can't buy directly from theater except in person) , but many, many good shows I get tickets from broadwaybox.com They have all the discount codes available and I have seen many great shows this way at great prices. Hamilton was overrated in my opinion but I enjoyed it. Wicked is my favorite and I've seen it 8 times. I can't even count how many shows I've seen. I'm a Broadway junkie!

How little? Over 6 should be ok if they can sit through the whole thing

Yes I agree if they're old enough to sit through it they can see it. I think they don't let in anyone under 4.... I would say 6 is bare minimum. The story may be too complex for kids under 8-10 to understand fully, but they'll love the sets and costumes and music.

My 8 y/o likes mean girls. A lot of jokes (thankfully) went over her head.

Anyone under 8 yo or so shouldn’t go to anything, unless radio city and the rockettes or something like that. How old are the girls?

I saw William Henry Harrison recently. As I detest musical theater, the mere 31 minute run time was a god send to me.

I wanted to contract typhus to merely stop the insanity.

If you aren’t picky about what show, go to the TKTS kiosk in Times Square a few hours before the show. They’ll have a range of shows, good seats, heavy discounts.

We get most of them from the kiosk around Times Square. Front Page was pretty good

Usually just online.

I think the last Broadway I saw was Matilda. Good friend of mine gave us tickets to go with them and their son. I actually enjoyed it.

Mean Girls is currently touring where I live but I don't think I'll end up seeing that one.

Others I've seen are:

Les Miserables
Wicked (personal favorite - got to see the original cast)
Book of Mormon
The Lion King
Hairspray

I know I'm forgetting a number of others, but those are the ones I can remember.
