See, I think me and you want the same shite KINDA, but for very different reasons.

I'm a Bernie Sanders guy, and I wanted him to kick the shite out of Hillary, and establishment on the Dem side, and try to swing things hard left.

You were mad about things on the GOP side, and wanted someone to come in, shake it all up, and end up.....hard right?

We could be friends...we may punch each other at the bar once or twice, but sometimes opposites make good buddies.

I don’t need to agree with someone to enjoy a spirited debate. I just need them to be able to admit that shite ain’t what the media claims and to admit that maybe, sometimes, you can’t always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need.

I started out as a Paul guy.

But i’ve Learned to see that sometimes nuanced and logical stances don’t get results in the idiocracy.

I guess you can say i’ve Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb.

Obama's criticized for being nothing but a community organizer. Shouldn't his climb be more appreciable than Trump's?

Obama was groomed for decades by the power brokers.

Good Lord. I'd rather have Hillary than Bernie and that makes me throw up in my mouth to say. Aside from marijuana legalization and ending the drug war me and Bernie couldn't disagree more. He's a filthy commie.

If Walt is as affluent as he makes out to be, he would suffer greatly under Bernie

True, but that's not the same thing as blowing up the establishment. He's a billionaire who does things that benefit billionaires. Trump is not exactly shaking up the social order of this country. I will admit he has shaken up the political elite, but not nearly to the extent that you alt-righters suggest.

Socialist is a better description than communist but he's definitely not someone that I want anywhere near the White House. It's funny that progs used to shrink away from being called socialists and now they campaign on it. Like that hasn't been tried and gone up in flames whenever it's been tried.

you dont think its an extremely uphill mountain to climb to do that?

he has brought fear into the gravy train that is washington DC.

politics aside, everyone should be glad that someone is in office that both established politicians hate. isnt it obvious when they all hate him that he is a good thing?

Trump is not a billionaire. There is no proof.

I know, and on here that makes me the devil incarnate.

I know that paying more in tax is frustrating, but what if somehow, we could re-work the system so that the taxes went to actual good things that could make ALL of our lives easier?

Is that such a terrible idea?

whats easier?

increasing taxes and figuring out where all that extra money should go or lowering taxes and figuring out where that money goes?

keep in mind the amount of money thats wasted on our tax money

I don't think he's trying. He uses executive orders as a dog whistle, but those will obviously be undone by whoever wins the presidency next (just as Trump undid Obama's many executive orders).

The biggest thing Trump has accomplished is the tax bill, and that reads like a GOPe wet dream. The other major thing is the USSC nominee -- also a GOPe wet dream.

I mean, you guys are seeing what you want to see in him. But most of what he gives you is hollow. Most of what he actually does is pure GOPe.

Impossible. There's no such thing as total agreement.

As a friend of mine who graduated from the U of London with government paid education, at some point of success, every successful person looks at their paycheck, sees what's being taken, and realizes they are getting screwed.

Those "upscale establishments" you prefer would not exist in a socialist society.

Bernie is an actual socialist pretending to be a welfare wizard and woul totally destroy the way of life most people enjoy.

I didn't vote for Trump for the reasons you just listed. The only politician in my lifetime whom I believed wholeheartedly when he spoke was Ron Paul. And the hatchet job the media did to him in 2008 and 2012 is further proof that the media has a vested interest in censoring ideas outside the prism of acceptable American political thought.

I'm not affluent at all, Roger. I'm low-middle, based on income. My dad is pretty affluent, though. I left home at 18 and asked him to help me pay a deposit on an apartment once. He flatly refused. Oh, well!
