Can intermittently find toilet paper and paper towels, but hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, Lysol, etc are almost impossible to find. When will stores be restocked consistently or online!?

Exactly!
Now when will idiots stop hoarding?
Who knows?

I'm shocked at how people apparently didn't have Lysol etc on hand.
We've still got several bottles etc but should probably buy some because of these morons.

I haven't seen hand sanitizer in awhile. Even bath and body works haven't had any in a month.

It won’t be around for a while. Every piece of inventory has been dedicated to the medical profession.

It's ridiculous. They aren't closing the grocery stores. There's no need to buy all of the paper towels and butter.

I'm sure some is due to many more people being home all day but not to this level.

We haven’t purchased any. Still had enough of the little bottles that they give you from work and random bed bath and beyond ones my wife had from before this. How much of this shite are people using? It’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t gone through one small hand sanitizer bottle yet.

What are the Toilet Paper producers gonna do when this is over? People will have years worth of supply. Not like TP expires.

its my understanding these supplies are not going to be restocked any time soon. all that is being produced is directed to hospitals, doctor offices, urgent care, and nursing homes first

when those places have all the need (and that is never gonna happen) only then will retail stores have any to put on shelves for the public

I've been using a bar or bottle of soap.

Been thinking about going up to the office and grabbing the 3 big arse bottles that I have in my desk from the supply closet though. Cleaning crew might have found them by now anyway

Local stores and places like Amazon will probably be sold out of hand sanitizer for a good bit. You have to get creative in sourcing it out. Lot of companies out there that are shifting their production to make sanitizer. Example: LINK

Hobby lobby tried to open their stores. Their employees said FU everyone else is home why can’t we?

Why do you think warehouse people, truck drivers and stock boys are any different?

You know what would make the morons stop buying everything the instant it hits the shelves and make sure the sanitizer is available if you want to pay for it?

"Price gouging".

You should be at home. Don’t need Germ X. Walk over to your sink and wash

Denatured alcohol contains ethanol, which could lead you to think it might be a worthwhile substitute. But ingredients are added to the bottles of denatured alcohol for effectiveness and to make it poisonous, so people can’t drink it. Those ingredients can be dangerous if absorbed through the skin and can also irritate your hands.
