When will China accept they are below Japan?

That’s because China as fighting a civil war and most ASEAN countries had very low levels of industrialization at that time compared to Japan.

A lot of Chinese were under Japanese during the rape of Nanking, so the better question is, when will both countries realize they’re a lot closer genetically than they admit?

The Rape of Nanking was in 1937. The Chinese Civil War started in 1945.
