About 3 years ago, I was in Metairie on business and I knew I wanted to have a few drinks at dinner, so I got an Uber. Turned out to be a 40 year old blonde MILF in a Mercedes SUV. I am still puzzled by that shite….

Years ago, around the battery in ATL, I had a white punk rock dude pick me up in a honda element with all the windows down and the music bumping. I had to go pick up my truck from the chevy dealership on Cobb Pkwy about 3 miles from the house. We get to the exit of my neighborhood and he turns to me and says "you look like a pretty cool dude to talk too, I gotta get something off my chest". He tells me how he walked in on his GF and his roommate getting it on, she looks at him and tells him its over, then turns to the roommate and tells him to keep going. He basically said he just left the apt and told me he didn't know what to do, but i would probably be his last ride of the day.. We finally get to the dealership, I bump up his tip..

Uber black is often not a whole lot more than X or whatever it’s called, at least around me

This is so true. I personally don’t understand why. I don’t like it. They need to have an option for everyone for a quiet ride, not just the Uber comfort.

I don't think I've ever had a White Uber driver.
In New Orleans, its usually an Arab or Black driver.
In Austin, it's always been a Hispanic.
The Austin ubers are usually clean while Nola has had some nasty cars.

Had a white Uber driver in Seattle in November and Vegas in December.
Most hated drivers are Southeast Asians and Indians. Guaranteed it's going to be hot as hell in the car.
ETA: I've also noticed a lot of Tesla's as Uber vehicles lately as well
