In the Corps we Marines were always going Fist City in a flash. Three times I had to prove my mettle with my buds. But we all wised up when we started to realize we were all pretty good at it and that it actually hurt. Later we fixed our attention on the gooks.

About 15 years ago in a bar in NOLA, 4 stupid fricks that didn't have a clue. It was my day and not theirs. Not going to give all the details. I had to run away.
I will say this, after the shakes are over with, and you get a grip on yourself, knowing that you win something like that is incredible.

Beat the shite out of the guy, but ended up breaking my thumb (I was drunk and didn't exactly practice good punching form)
Broken thumb is no fun, not to mention expensive. Since then I'm a bit more inclined to just let things slide.
