Not for a few years. Wait to find out the harm it will cause, and then weight the options.

Three comments here
1) that was literally at the very beginning of vaccine science.
2) they don't use that live virus method any more. They use inert material that tricks the body into making antibodies
3) with computer modeling, they can develop safer, faster, more effective treatments. You're talking about how the Wright Bros crashed, and therefore you don't feel safe getting on a modern jetliner.
Vaccines are safe and effective. And this one will be too. Final answer.

That's alarming as shite
To be fair, there's been a few research Universities/Colleges that have been working to develop a vaccine for coronaviruses before COVID-19. There just wasn't a large interest in it because a common cold usually is mild and has little effect. They often don't pull the financial funding to maintain trying to create that kind of vaccine. There's a few that have been close in the last 5-10 years, so I imagine there's some to build upon in a fast tracking process.
