I think the question is does your mom want it, which is doubtful right? So then sell it at like 20 cents to the dollar or less to the new people.

Only the speakers in the ceiling would stay, unless they negotiated in the price for the entire system.

In the purchase and sale agreement it will clearly states all attached items convey with the sale unless otherwise specified. We even convey the TV mounts and curtains attached to rods now to mitigate damage issues. It should be treated no differently than a smoke detector or light fixture. Use common sense.

The property law term of art you are looking at is "fixture". In general, if the fixture is still in place when the house is shown and no mention of it not staying is made then it stays. The only items in question here are the "built-in" speakers.
A hardy laugh at the people that think smaller speakers can do the job as well or better than larger speakers that are designed and built equally as well. Spend some time on the serious AV forums such as AVS and you will learn why people with the money and room use as close to full range speakers in the multiple surround positions as possible. In the end physics is still physics.

Typically, attached stuff stays, unattached stuff goes.
This.
So from the pics you posted... the ceiling speakers stay....unless stated otherwise on the listing agreement.

Does your mom even want them?
If she likes the system, ask. The buyer might not want anything.
If she doesn’t want any of it- offer to sell everything on the cheap.
Otherwise, plan to take everything not built in and leave the recessed.

The ceiling speakers should stay. When we moved at the beginning of the year, I left $3000 of speakers in the walls. I really didn't want to, but it was better than leaving holes. Plus I couldn't do in walls in the new house.

The speakers built into the home are fixtures and unless otherwise stated in the contract are considered a part of the home.
