I’m seeing this more and more myself. It’s like in the last 5-10 years or so people lost the ability to know how or when to use their headlights.

Yeah, that’s just not true. There are newer headlights that are bright then there are dumbasses with bright lights on. It’s easy to tell the difference. The high beams are the closest to the grill.

My MIL has a Nissan Rogue. Her lights auto-dim as well. Since people are now too stupid to dim their own lights, this feature needs to come standard on all vehicles going forward. And go ahead and make it standard that turning on headlight automatically turns on their headlights as well.

This is almost always true. However, if it’s very heavy rain where I have to slow down more than 10 mph below the speed limit I always use flashers purely for safety reasons. Always better to be safe then sorry.

It's not mismeasured, it's that their auto is not equiped properly to add LED or HID.
