Why should anyone care what the CMA does?
Once country music, like the university, was an important conserving force in the culture. Since the '60s the university has been turned into a giant indoctriantion camp. I don't want country music to suffer the same fate.

The quality of country music declined when the writing became corporatized.
You can still find good new country music, but like rock, it’s not mainstream anymore and you have to hunt for it outside of FM radio.
