100%. I still maintain you can meet the daily requirements for life cheaper with calorically dense processed food. That has nothing to do with the fact those foods may produce poor habits like eating more because you still feel hungry and produce other health issues but you can not eat well by eating shite so that part of the discussion is not even an issue.
You can eat well for not a lot more than you can eat like crap but I don't think the argument holds that it is indeed cheaper to eat well.

You're looking at a 3d object in 2d. We know that highly processed foods don't fill you up as much, and we know when you eat them you tend to eat more.
Is it possible to eat a certain amounts of calories on nothing but Twinkies, of course, it's been done before. But in practice, it almost never happens.

But I’ll be ok bc I eat a lot of fiber
I eat red meat, too. No reason to get so testy.

The real myth is the healthiness of natural food. Processed food IS cheaper and it's better for you. Made by the best people in the food business with care and love. They're experts. Why would I trust your opinion over theirs? How many food processing plants do you own?

Crazy that you people just make shite up, get called out for it, then act like your lie isn't a big deal

I lived on ground meat and sweet potatoes for like 20 bucks a week

What I learned from this thread:
Mingo says you can basically eat nothing but on sale
protein everyday every meal and save a bunch of money. In the meantime, don’t worry about your colon bro, muh ‘science’

“ The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), part of the World Health Organization (WHO), has conducted reports that suggest the consumption of red meat may be carcinogenic to humans. But since red meat's classification as a Group 2A carcinogen is based on limited evidence,2???????? there are other factors to take into account when deciding whether or not to eat red meat.”
I didn’t make anything up

Scooped up a pack of boneless chicken tenders at Sams for 2.32 per pound. Like 6-7 pounds worth.
Enough for meal prep for 6-7 days.
110 cals 26g of protein per 4oz
Get $10 worth of vegetables and you have a weeks worth of lunch and dinner for $30

Really...are you frickers really gonna make me defend keto and carnivore? Really?
Again you have no proof that veggies promote colon health. And he wasn't saying don't eat them, he was saying you don't have to.
And he is right. Proven 100 time over. Also proven 100 times that calories and protein are what matters when trying to lose fat, what ever way helps you hit protein goals and consistently stay in a caloric deficit until you hit your goal bodyfat is what you should do.
Also proven 100 times that over 90% of health bemifits come from weight loss or maintaining healthy bodyfat (under 20% for males). So again why are they so important?
Are they good to eat, absurdly because they are very voluminous on a calorie per calorie basis. But you don't need them.
A simple multi gets you all the micros you need.
In the end it's about consistency, not perfection.

I've said it 1,000 times but I'll say it again for you slow individuals,
I don't up vote or down vote unless someone complains about being down voted so I down voted this post. I will up vote if something makes me chuckle.

Like I said correlation doesn't equal causation. That's like saying everyone who got brain cancer last year had a cell phone, so there fore cell phones cause cancer.
The so called li.ited evidence is the damn China study which has been shown 1000 times for be bullshite.
Like I said link me to a single study that proves that red meat causes cancer. Show me a meta analysis and you will change the world.
But you can't because your claims are not based on science and the are based on bullshite.

Again, why people worry about what others eat, drink, wear, etc. baffles me. Oh well, it is what it is.

Not testy, just get tired of dealing with people who claim science but are too stupid to understand correlation doesn't mean causation and then get mad when called out for posting bullshite.
The science you are posting is like the science the government used for the mask mandate and you are acting like them when shown studies that disprove your theory.
