Lakeview had its appeal when a lot was practically free after Katrina. You would have be a fool to live there now, for many reasons. Ride the wave of appreciation and sell.

Old Metaire and Metairie (North of W. Esplanade from Bucktown to Power) are good areas in Met. Hell, Kenner along the lake has great neighborhoods and depending on your commute could be viable.

NOLA suburbs have always been weak, except for Old Metairie.

Historically Jefferson Parish has been far more corrupt than Orleans as well.

well on sports cars, i think it makes them sound a lot better. there are performance advantages and even mpg increases, although the latter is basically non-existent because people with those cars tend to have heavier feet
