Cant be a HIPAA violation when you’re not a real doctor

Sounds like you went to one of these franchise chiropractors

Don't be surprised if he starts putting together a comedy routine and serving alcohol.
Imagine the entertainment opportunities if you had a Hypnotist and a Chiropractor in the same office.

When I took criminal law in law school, there was a manslaughter case from NY in the early 1900s. Kid had TB so the chiropractor said he could cure it. Of course the child died.

I went to one in Denver because I was having terrible back pain and they had a banner in the office stating they could fix a list of issues including sinus infections, ED, some forms of cancer and a few other insane problems.
One of those quacks in Baton Rouge would "treat" little babies that had been in wrecks by having the mother hold the baby on her stomach while only cracked the mom's back! Never once touched the baby.
Swear that's true.

Female chiropractor who adjusts your package?

You are at the wrong kind of doctor.
Anyone that lets a dude that couldnt get in to medical school or dental school even look at their spine has bigger problems than back pain.

I would not have minded it if she wasn't like 70.

What Happens if a Chiropractor Violates HIPAA?
HIPAA violations can result in severe penalties, including:
Fines ranging from $100 to $50,000 per violation
Lawsuits from patients for breaches of privacy
Loss of trust and damage to the chiropractor’s reputation

About 7 years ago, I had 2 or 3 adjustments at a clinic and felt better after an injury. A few years later, I had a similar flare up, but my first chiropractor had moved away so I went to a recommended clinic on Perkins near Essen. This guy had a similar setup up, told me it would take at least 40 visits to feel better, told me his whole treatment area was recorded, and generally gave me creep vibes. I decided doing some yoga and strength training was probably enough and went that route instead.

I've changed my tune. Earlier this year my now ex gf messed up her back doing a dead lift. She had limited healthcare options as her insurance was provided through her asylum. My friend is a chiro and said he would treat her pro gratis so I brought her in. His visits and yoga/stretching got her back to normal. I wish I still had her xray to show how bad she was. Recently I had a seizure in a chair at work that caused compression in my spine. A weekly visit to him and yoga/stretching has done wonders. I did do a second opinion with a PT and they agreed he was making progress with my condition
