Dec 23, 1913, when congress and Woodrow Wilson signed over control of US currency to the privately controlled international banking cartel.

How can we get back to that point?
That’s what I’m saying. We are not declining. We are still #1.
Instead of talking about our “faults”, tell me who is better??
Where is this utopia? If anything, America has improved their status since WWII.

Tell me why crime has soared. Tell me why there are so many homeless that are filling up major cities. Tell me why, for years, inner cities have crumbled into decay and overpowering drug addiction.
Lol, what?
Inner cities were crumbling in the 1970s.
Crime rates were much, much, much higher in the 1970s and 1980s.

Why have our leaders failed us? Why are we so divided as a nation? I feel we are more divided than ever. We are supposed to be the UNITED States of America and yet that feels so far from the current reality. We once had the world’s strongest economy, and now… that is far gone. So many Americans face poverty, hunger, uncertainty.
We were just as divided in the 1960s.
And the US still has the strongest economy in the world.
It's actually gained compared to 'peer' countries.

9/11 and Obama being President were the best answers I saw.
I'll also trow in when social media became big and popular. Nothing good comes from that.

As it has been stated November 22, 1963.

Crime was much worse 30+ years ago.

My question for the OT this evening is this: When did the United States of America begin its decline? My position is that WW2 era America was the peak, we were the greatest country in the world and we knew it.
I encourage all of you to read CS Lewis. His writings predicted damn near everything that is happening now, and he wrote most of it in the 30s-40s.

Crime is cyclical, for all you under 60 this is how it works.
The liberals react to conservative leadership etc by passing a bunch of get soft on crime laws, crime explodes and then everyone gets feed up then we pass 3 strikes etc and put everyone in jail crime drops to nothing then we freak out defund the police etc crimes go nuts then we stop that bs and pass a bunch of draconian laws etc etc crime goes down efc

Feminism is the most accurate answer but there were many factors that paved the way for feminism to destroy western civilization.

The one I’m living in right now is safer, better organized and a better place to raise children. There aren’t opioid and meth epidemics spawning homeless populations across the country like you have happening in the US.

I loved allowing people to download the music for free.

This. Again, I have not experienced life first hand in another country. But when you look at the drug epidemic that has seized this country for years, you have to wonder how other countries compare with drug addiction in their own country.
