Which she wouldn't. She's incredibly sweet natured and a member of this family. She's about to be 13 years old, we rescued her when she was 3 when a puppy farm that was breeding dogs to fight was busted. She was pregnant and had 13 puppies, one of which died and we found homes for the other 12.
She's been with us since, stays inside most of the time. Has been great around the kids and the grandbabies.
The get a bad rep because of the bad people that train them to be bad.
ETA: Suggesting we should commit genocide of an entire breed when, in fact, we should simply execute dog fighers who train and abuse them ... well.
Let's extinct Cocker Spaniels while we're at it, shall we? Since Cocker Spaniels are well know to be the most likely breed to bite humans, especially children.
Or how about we kill off all birds ... since they shite on cars and spread bird viruses.
Or how about we get rid of all female humans since they cause more death and destruction on this planet, with their mouths, than any other animal does with theirs.

I do agree with killing all pit bulls. That’s not a good justification though. Democracy is mob rule.

Because they are a robust breed and are prolific breeders ... same reason cock fighters pick Gamecocks.
Dobermans, Blue Healers, Aussies and Rottweilers are all far more agressive and dangerous but they cannot be handled by a typical human once they go postal.
Pitties are chosen because of their relatively small size.
Humans who breed them and train them to fight should be disposed of before the breed ... and you would see far less issues with Pitties.

This is just stupid and why literally no progress will ever be made. Emotion-driven bullshite on both ends of it. No, you can't just go door to door and kill off everyone's pit bull. That's about as asinine as thinking the government would go door to door and confiscate everyone's guns.
You can, and in my opinion should, however, criminalize the intentional breeding of them.

It’s not stupid. It’s literally a solution to a problem. Make them illegal to own. It’s very simple. You can’t hide a pit bull in your pants or in your pockets.

That may be what the right says they are about but that isnt what the spectrum measures at all.
In terms of government interference, regardless of the issue, those who advocate for it are further left than those who advocate against it, regardless of their opinion on family.

I dont think i agreed with either side. I dont like monarchies or theocracies but i do like provincially based representational sources of power over straight democracies. but the French revolution isnt my strongest subject

Culling an entire breed of animal is a sociopath's solution. Ban their breeding, fine. But wanting to kill other peoples pets is on the checklist for developing serial killer.

The problem with the argument against pits is that they can easily kill a baby. But so can any dog.
