In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

You sound like a psycho.

Thanks, but it took me long enough to get here, so now I'm enjoying the ride a bit more.

Wake up at 4:55.
Cup of coffee and a deuce.
5-8 mile run.
Another cup of coffee while getting the kids breakfast.
Shower, shave, dressed for work.
Yell at the kids to get dressed and brush their teeth.
Leave house at 7:40, at my desk at 7:50.

Did carpentry work, home repair, painting, sheetrock hanging, trim work. Bit of everything really.

Got into doing custom cabinetmaking in my woodworking shop for a while to be able to work at home. I like building one-off stuff for folks that couldn't find what they wanted in stores, especially to fit in odd nooks and crannies before I finally had enough. Now I mostly do it for myself and have built a good bit of my own furniture.

Snooze the alarm every 5 minutes for 30 minutes, get up, take a crap if necessary, jump in the shower, then to work. On weekends I sleep late.

I hate cardio with a passion. I only like it if it involves something competitive (I raced Motocross and played rugby). I am more a strength training kinda girl. Push ups and planks, pull ups and weights. I occasionally get on the rowing machine, but I get bored 500m in. I have a short attention span. Luckily, my body responds well to any physical activity and I still wear a size 00. I am not as tone as I was when I had an 8 pack and weighed 98 lbs, but that actually wasn't a really good look. I am happy with how I look these days.

I love my morning runs. I run through hills and forests for quiet time. I mix in speed work, and sprints to keep it interesting, and I do resistance training about 2 days a week, but the runs are what keep me sane.

Wake up at 7. Get a cup of coffee, wake my daughter up, get dressed, out of the house by 7:40 or so, bring kid to school/summer camp, head to work for 8:00-8:10.

Me too Jim. I rarely get up before 9:30 or so on the weekend. I'm kind of a night owl. Definitely not a morning person
