i have a pair i wear on occasion. good for festivals or being outside all day..
they are better than flip flops if you have to walk or be on your feet
i also have strong, manly, tanned legs, so they look good on me

Don't really have an opinion on females wearing them. But Chacos are sandals you can wear and actually do stuff in. You can run if needed, you can walk on rocky terrain, you can go through mud and water without worrying about losing your flip flop. The really fit your feet. The ones I have are heavy as a mofo though and I don't really wear them that often. Quick trip to the store, I'm wearing flip flops. Going paddle through the marsh in a kayak where I might have to get out and drag, I'm wearing Chacos or some Teva water shoes I have.

Meh, I wear them in the summer if I'm doing outside activity. (Hiking, festivals, hanging at the park, etc...)
